Steel Blocks is a dive site that showcases the artificial reef project of Abu Dhabi.
The site consists of steel blocks that have been placed near Saadiyat Island to attract and support marine life. The blocks form columns and mazes that you can explore and see different fish species, such as barracudas, snappers, trevallies, angel fish, and batfish. You can also find corals, sponges, and sea anemones on the blocks and in the surrounding sand. Steel Blocks is a shallow dive site that is suitable for all levels of divers and snorkelers Prerequisites: open water diver certification and above/ last log dives within 6 months
